USA, VA: Michael Waltrip Brewing Company getting ready for business in Bristol

Stand on Moore Street in Bristol, Virginia and crews are hard at work getting Michael Waltrip Brewing Company ready for business, WCYB reported on June 25.

One new feature that's easily noticeable is an awning at the front entrance.

Waltrip, the former NASCAR driver, announced in March he would be opening a brewery and tap room in the building that was formerly home to Studio Brew.

The current NASCAR on FOX analyst started his brewery business in Phoenix and has locations in several western states.

The Michael Waltrip Brewing Company Twitter page says the location in Bristol will open later this summer.

An exact date will be announced at a later time.
